A cancellation request should be sent promptly to support@chequebouncecounsel.org with the applicant name, registered mobile number, application reference and payment ID. Requests are assessed according to the actual service stage and amounts already incurred.
Where a verified cancellation request is received before reference generation, document review, support action, case allocation or other substantive service activity begins, the unused platform component may be refundable after deduction of non-recoverable gateway charges, taxes already deposited and administrative costs, to the extent permitted by law.
Once any material service has begun—including application review, document checking, reference generation, communication, checklist preparation, expert or advocate coordination, drafting instruction collection or status handling—the corresponding platform fee becomes earned and is ordinarily non-refundable.
A refund is not available merely because the opposite party does not pay, a settlement is not reached, a complaint is delayed or not admitted, the user changes strategy, evidence is insufficient, a court passes an adverse order, or an expected result is not achieved. Legal outcomes are never guaranteed.
No refund is ordinarily due where progress is prevented by incomplete or inaccurate information, failure to provide documents, inability to contact the user, missed deadlines, failure to attend consultation or proceedings, or a decision to engage another service provider after work has begun.
A confirmed duplicate debit or payment captured without creation of a service request will be investigated with the payment gateway. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take the bank or gateway's standard processing time.
Approved refunds will be communicated in writing. The platform initiates the eligible amount to the original payment source; the final credit time depends on the bank or payment gateway and is outside the platform's direct control.
Users should first use the grievance channel and provide a reasonable opportunity to review the records. The platform may submit service logs, consent records, payment data and communication history to a bank, payment gateway, authority or forum when responding to a dispute.
